Sarah graduated from the College of Commerce in 2006, specializing in Human Resources.
She has attained several professional designations, including Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), Compensation Management Specialist (CMS), and Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB).
Sarah currently holds multiple board roles. As Chair of the Insurance Brokers Association of Saskatchewan (IBAS) Board of Directors, she leads and guides the association in strategic initiatives. Similarly, she is the Chair of the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute (CPBI) Regional Council, and serves as a director on the board of the Chartered Professionals of Human Resources (CPHR).
As the CEO and partner at Johnston Insurance, a women-owned and operated full-service property and casualty insurance and group benefits brokerage in Saskatchewan, Sarah leads the organization in achieving its goals.
Sarah currently resides in Saskatoon with her husband and her two children. She enjoys travelling, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.
