Rob Knibbs

 

Senior Consultant

As a Business Development professional, Rob has a wealth of experience leading teams and growing business in a wide variety of spaces.   He has worked with clients throughout North America and in the Asia Pacific region to achieve their business development goals.  Himself a business owner, leader and entrepreneur, Rob has the first-hand experience to assist others in the creation of new business opportunities and to reinforce existing business relationships.  In areas as diverse as industrial manufacturing, custom engineering services, commercial insurance, emergency medical products, security consulting, new media services, lifestyle brands and international logistics, Rob has a proven track record of success with thousands of satisfied clients.  

 

Rob also had a 20 year career as an NCO and Officer in the Canadian Army, leading diverse teams of Canadian, American, British and other NATO soldiers domestically and in operations abroad.  He was at the forefront of developing the Canadian Army's Psychological Operations capability, authoring the first Canadian military courses on the subject and leading its' implementation into operational theatres such as Bosnia and Afghanistan.  His experience as a military leader and planner gives him superior skills in developing quality Business Development plans and to guide successful implementation.  He derives great satisfaction in developing teams that will meet clear objectives in order to outclass the competition.  A Certified Human Behavior Consultant, he strongly believes in the value of understanding a group's strengths and weaknesses.  He has worked with specialized teams in the military and in business to better understand each other and to reach their full collective potential.     

 

In his spare time, Rob volunteers as a Governor for the South Saskatchewan Corps of Commissionaires and as a Member on the Board of the Royal Regina Rifles Trust.  In addition, he is a nationally certified archery coach and actively trains athletes in the Saskatchewan Archery Association Junior Olympic Program.  He lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with his wife Kristin and their two children.
