Kathy Kissick is a forward thinking and highly adaptable accounting professional with over a decade of experience working directly with and for First Nation organizations. Kathy is passionate about using her education and experience to help First Nation communities by providing financial, accounting and management services, analysis and advice that will lead to positive and sustainable community outcomes for the client.
Kathy is equipped to assist clients with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) support, budgeting and forecasting assistance, financial statement review, analysis and consultation, and support with the year-end audit preparation and process. She looks forward to aiding clients with strategic plan review and alignment of organization goals with current budgets and future forecasts.
For the past six years Kathy held the CFO position with Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs (BATC), and for five years previously had been the Director of Finance. Kathy is a University of Saskatchewan Bachelor of Commerce graduate, specializing in Accounting; Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2008, and as Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager (CAFM) in 2019.
